The Sicilian Pigeon: A Noir Radio Comedy

Comedy/Radio Comedy
Full Length
Cast: 5-20 actors

Everything changes for Detective Dick Diamond when a mysterious woman walks into his office. The search for her missing husband pulls them down into the deep, seedy underbelly of 1940's New York. This hilarious, self-aware, film noir parody combines some of the genre's most famous stories (Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, Sunset Blvd, and more!) into this fun radio comedy.

This show can be performed as a typical radio play or a "live" radio show.

"A noir radio play? A FUNNY noir radio play? YES, PLEASE! McCann's sure grasp of the genre, his whiplash wit, and imaginative use of the audio format makes this a winner in my book. So much fun to read, I can only imagine what bliss sitting in a darkened room listening to it would be." - New Play Exchange Reviewer

One Last Christmas in Millsburg

Comedy/Drama
Full Length
Cast: 3 men, 3 women,

It is Christmas time in Millsburg, an all but deserted town living in the shadow of its abandoned steel mill. Colin, the high school theatre director – unemployed due to recent budget cuts – convinces Mitch – the lone member of the City Council – to invest in a community production of A Christmas Carol to improve morale and rally the town. It seems the fate of the town rests on Colin’s shoulders. But he does have help from his stage manager Rachel, and his ill-cast troupe actors, including: Doris, the professional “artiste” and theatre veteran (think Norma Desmond,) Janice, straight A+ student and DIY queen, and Joshua, a young man dealing with the ghosts of his own past. Can this one show keep Millsburg from becoming a ghost town?
